Results of the PAG-IBIG Contribution Calculator

There are only three output fields in the calculation below the Calculate button, which are Employer's Share, Employee's Share, and Total Pag-IBIG Contribution.

The company you work for and yourself will split the payment 50/50 according to the rules, as an employee.

An employer and employee share of 2% of the total contribution rate is equally distributed.

In the case of earning over ₱25,000 a month, your Pag-Ibig deduction is ₱200 and your company's counterpart is also ₱200.

This is because the equal percentage to 2% of 25k is 500. That means yourself and the company should each contribute ₱1,000 each month if you were to deduct ₱-500.

Since the maximum monthly fund salary (MFS) is set at a maximum of ten thousand dollars, even if your salary is ₱25,000, it will still be computed based on this amount.

Thus, the maximum contribution is ₱2,000 for the employer and ₱2,000 for the employee.

How about members who are self-employed or voluntary?

You must pay the fee alone if you are a voluntary or self-employed employee, you don't have a company that will help you split the payment, so you will have to pay the fee alone.

A detailed understanding of the Pag-IBIG contribution

The amount is calculated based on your monthly compensation, up to a maximum of ₱5,000. Understanding how the calculator works is crucial in understanding your Pag-IBIG contribution.

Using a two-tiered approach

The Pag-IBIG contribution system consists of two tiers: if your monthly income is less than ₱1500, you contribute 1% of your salary, and your employer contributes 1% as well. If you earn more than ₱1,500 a month, your contribution rate increases to 2%, and your employer also contributes 2%. The maximum salary for contribution purposes is $5,000, which means each party can contribute ₱100, for a total of ₱200.

Employers and their roles

Employees are responsible for deducting their share from their monthly salary and remitting it along with their employer's share to the Pag-IBIG Fund. Each month, the calculator shows you your employee share and employer share, so you know exactly how much is going into your account.

Voluntary contributions to Pag-IBIG

Individuals who are self-employed or have a Pag-IBIG voluntary contribution go through a slightly different process. These members are responsible for paying the entire amount themselves. Calculate your monthly income accurately with the calculator, allowing you to plan your payments accordingly. This is one of the key features of the tool that makes it useful for Filipino workers of all levels.
